Malaysian Papers Into Simplified Or Traditional Chinese, And Back
Not every Malaysian paper heading to a Chinese reader starts in Malay. Some start in English, and some readers want both languages. Taiwan offices may ask for English beside the Chinese. A paper may also travel the other way, from Chinese into Malay. Find the row that fits your reader, and our Malaysia team handles the rest.

Who reads the Chinese
Chinese-Speaking Readers Abroad Who Rely On Our Malaysian Copies
Your Chinese copy is written for one reader on the far side. That reader might be a civil affairs bureau, a Taiwan school or a business partner. Each one reads Malaysian papers a little differently. This table shows the readers we prepare for most often, with what they usually ask. Their own letter or checklist always outranks our table.

Firms send SSM profiles to partners in China. Each card shows the Malay name and the reader who usually needs it. Tap a card for the full page on that paper.

Sijil Kelahiran Into Mainland Chinese Script, Family Names Confirmed
Chinese officers like to match each line with the Malay original. So this sample follows the order of an invented JPN birth certificate. The names show characters chosen by the family, with the passport spelling kept beside them. Dates switch to the Chinese year, month and day order. Your real copy ends with our signed statement and chop.

Malay–Chinese know-how
Bahasa Malaysia To Chinese Translation Details Our Linguists Watch
Malay papers hold ideas that Chinese readers may not know. Bin and binti, faraid shares and MyKad numbers all need care. Names usually appear only in Roman letters, so the right characters must come from you. Our linguists in Malaysia handle these points every week. Here are the ones we check before any Chinese copy is signed.
-
Characters Come From You
A JPN certificate shows Tan, not 陈. You confirm the characters, so a hukou or bank record matches.
-
Simplified Or Traditional
Mainland readers expect 简体. Taiwan and Hong Kong readers expect 繁體. We ask the reader's city before starting.
-
Name Links Like Bin And A/L
These name parts are kept, then explained once in Chinese, so nothing looks missing to the reader.
-
Malaysian Terms With A Note
Words like faraid, Geran Probet and Mahkamah Syariah get a Chinese term plus a short explanation.
-
Dates And Money Reordered
05-03-2018 becomes 2018年3月5日. Ringgit amounts stay in RM and are never converted to yuan.
-
Office Names In Chinese
JPN becomes 国民登记局 and SSM becomes 马来西亚公司委员会, with the Malay name kept beside.
Not sure which characters your family uses? Check a Chinese school certificate, a tombstone or an old clan record.

Costs in plain ringgit
Malay To Mandarin Translation Costs For Malaysian Families
One birth certificate is a small job, while an estate set or company file is larger. We price each page, and an English copy for Taiwan counts as a second translation. Notary seals and courier sit on separate lines. Every figure is in ringgit, because our work is done in Malaysia. You approve the total before we begin.
RM90
per page, starting price
Think of RM90 per page as a rough opening figure for one clear certificate page. Notary, extra English copies and courier are quoted on their own lines.
Get my exact priceWhat decides your final price
Number Of Pages
One sijil or a full family set. Each page is counted.
Script Choice
Simplified and Traditional versions count as two separate copies.
English Copy Too
A Taiwan file that wants English adds a second translation.
Faded Or Old Sijil
Handwriting and faint stamps on older papers take longer to read.
Estate And Contract Wording
Probate, faraid and contract clauses need extra care and time.
Seal And Courier
Notary seals and courier are priced per document and per address.
In a hurry? Flying out soon? Most short certificates can be ready the next working day. Remember that the notary, Wisma Putra and embassy steps add their own days after ours.

Slips That Confuse Chinese Readers Of Malaysian Malay Documents
A Chinese reader far from Malaysia cannot call JPN to ask a question. So small gaps in a Chinese copy cause long delays. These are the problems families and firms report to us most often. They come from real orders, not an official list. We check each one before your copy is signed.
-
Wrong Script For The Reader
Simplified sent to Taiwan, or Traditional sent to Shanghai, looks careless and may be refused.
We ask for the reader's city and confirm the script in the quote.
-
Characters Guessed From Roman Letters
Tan could be 陈 or 谭. A wrong guess breaks the link to hukou or bank records.
We never guess. You confirm each name's characters before we sign.
-
Legalisation Chain Skipped
A Chinese office may want the notary, Wisma Putra and embassy stamps before it reads anything.
We explain the chain early and add the notary step when you ask.
-
Faraid Shares Left Unexplained
Chinese heirs may not follow Islamic inheritance shares without a short note.
We translate each share exactly and add a brief note on the term.
-
Ringgit Turned Into Yuan
Converting amounts changes the record. The bank may then question every figure.
Amounts stay in RM as written. Only the words around them change.
-
Agency Rule Not Checked
Some offices in China accept only translations from their own listed agencies.
We tell you to check first, so you never pay twice.
Ask your reader in China or Taiwan for their checklist in writing. Send it with your scan, and we follow it.

Questions From Chinese Readers And Malaysians About Malay Papers
Still not sure?
Send your question with the quote form. A translator replies, not a bot.
Ask your question
My Malay Birth Certificate Shows Names Only In Roman Letters. Where Will The Chinese Characters Come From?
They come from you. Check a Chinese school certificate, clan record or family register. We place those characters in the draft, and you approve them before we sign.
Do Taiwan Schools Expect Traditional Characters When I Send Malay Results?
Yes, Taiwan uses Traditional script, so we write 繁體 for any Taiwan school or office. Ask whether an English copy is also needed, and we prepare both together.
Is A Chinese-Language Copy Part Of The Wisma Putra Counter Process?
Usually not directly. Wisma Putra's own page covers Malay and English translations by translators it lists. For China, the usual chain seals the Malaysian paper with a notary, then Wisma Putra and the Chinese Embassy stamp it. Ask the receiving office how the Chinese copy should travel with it.
How Many Days Does The Chinese Embassy Add After My Malay Paper Is Translated?
The China visa centre says legalisation usually takes four working days. The notary and Wisma Putra add their own days before that. Our translation takes about one to two working days, so tell us your travel date.
I Live In China. Who Carries My Chinese Copy Through The Malaysian Stamps?
Usually a relative in Malaysia does. We courier the chopped copy to them and explain each counter in plain words. Some families use a document agent instead.
Will A Chinese Traffic Office Take A Translation Of My Malay Driving Licence?
Often not. Traffic offices in China usually want their own listed agencies or a Chinese notary. Please check with the local vehicle office before ordering.
Will CSCSE Take A Chinese Translation Made In Malaysia For My Degree Check?
Possibly not. The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange may follow its own process or want a China-based agency. Check its current guide before ordering, so you never pay twice.
Can My Muslim Nikah Certificate Go Into Chinese For My Husband's Family?
Yes. We translate the Surat Perakuan Nikah in full, religious office stamps included. If an office in China will register it, ask whether it needs any extra step first.
Can You Put Our SSM Company Profile Into Chinese For A Partner In Shenzhen?
Yes. We translate the directors, shareholders and capital lines into Simplified Chinese. Company names stay in their registered Roman form. A Chinese trade name is added only if you already use one.
Must My Original Malay Sijil Travel To You, Or Can I Keep It At Home?
Keep it at home. A clear scan is enough for the translation itself. The notary and Wisma Putra usually need to see the original later, so leave it with family in Malaysia.
